Recipient confirmation worksheet
Record the goods you received, the checks you performed and anything still unresolved. You can acknowledge physical receipt without claiming that every item has been installed or tested.
Get the accepted specification
Ask the buyer for the final model, item list or approved version before handover. The recipient should not be forced to decide whether a similar-looking product is an authorised substitute. For a Zimbabwe order funded from abroad, this record helps the payer understand the local receiving event without receiving unnecessary private details.

Describe observations narrowly
Count the goods, check labels and note visible condition where practical. State which technical or first-use checks have not occurred. A recipient is not automatically the person qualified to assess electrical work, a pumping system or a vehicle repair. Keep that later assessment separate and identify who is responsible for it.
For the next decision, see Separating delivery from installation sign-off →
Preserve the distinction between reports
The payer's claim, merchant payment confirmation and merchant delivery report are not your personal acknowledgement. Your record should say what you actually received and checked. If a line is short, damaged or disputed, keep the exception visible and contact the merchant through the order's agreed route. The worksheet is not a digital signature service or independent proof of delivery.

Putting the record into practice
An appliance arrives in the agreed model. The recipient counts the accessories and records a missing item, while noting that setup has not yet occurred. The payer can see physical receipt and the unresolved issues as separate facts.
