Your customer’s order is never held hostage
One credit is used when an order is successfully created. Payment confirmation, fulfilment updates, tracking-link views and the receipt do not use extra credits. Running out stops new order creation only; existing orders can still be completed and viewed under the usual access rules.
Monthly included orders are used first, then welcome orders, then purchased orders. Monthly included allowances reset on the first day of each month (UTC). Unused welcome and purchased orders carry forward. Cancelling an order is not a credit refund.
