Delivery handover worksheet
Prepare a load record that can be checked at the destination. Identify the goods, the people handing them over and any difference between the plan and what actually happened.
Agree the arrangement before dispatch
Ask the supplier to confirm the actual destination, access and unloading responsibilities. For bulky Zimbabwe orders, an address alone may not describe the agreed drop point. Keep any quoted delivery charge and collection alternative with the commercial order. This worksheet does not create a delivery service or establish a seller's policy.

Use an itemised load list
Record product identifiers and quantities for this handover, especially if the order moves in stages. A transporter collecting at a counter and a household receiving later are different events. Use separate copies if necessary. Let the receiver note visible condition and missing items while the load is still identifiable.

Keep an exception open until resolved
Record the supplier's response to a discrepancy and the next agreed step. Do not mark goods received simply because the merchant confirmed payment or reported dispatch. Recipient acknowledgement should describe the actual handover and its limits. The downloaded worksheet is a record you prepare; it does not independently verify payment, delivery or a signature.

Putting the record into practice
A material order arrives in two loads. The receiver completes a worksheet for the first load and records the remaining quantity. The second handover is checked against that balance, preserving a clear history without claiming the full order arrived at once.
Keep this with the order
Before you proceed
- Destination and unloading confirmed.
- Load list matches the final order.
- Handover participants identified.
- Exceptions recorded by item.
- Outstanding balance retained.
