Ordering roofing materials in Zimbabwe
Begin a roofing purchase with an approved component schedule. The covering, accessories, installation and unloading arrangement need separate attention before a buyer commits to a quotation.
Get the design decision before the price decision
Ask the responsible professional to identify the required roofing system and quantities. Zimtile's branch information and Wattle's timber-product range provide routes for enquiries, but neither a branch listing nor a product photo approves a roof for your building. Keep measurements, profile and any structural requirements with the person qualified to make those decisions. This guide organises purchasing rather than designing a roof.

Quote the edges and connections too
List the main covering, ridges, edge pieces and other specified components separately. If roof timber or trusses are part of the project, identify who designs and supplies them. Ask the seller which lines are included, which are alternatives and which remain unavailable. A main-covering total can look complete while the items needed to finish the roof are missing. Have the contractor approve any change to the schedule.

Plan a countable delivery
Confirm the supplying location, access and unloading responsibilities. Ask how visible damage or a shortage should be reported under the actual order terms. Keep each load associated with its component list, especially where accessories travel separately. The recipient should acknowledge what arrived and record unperformed checks honestly; they should not be asked to certify installation quality merely because materials were dropped at the site.

Enquiry brief to adapt
Please use the roof schedule supplied by the responsible designer, including its accessory list. Quote covering, ridges, fixings and any other specified components separately, and mark any line you cannot supply. Do not replace a component without returning the change for technical approval. Give the payer the complete supply scope and the site recipient a component list that can be checked as each load arrives.

Putting the record into practice
A buyer notices that a roof quotation includes the main covering but omits the ridge line in the contractor's schedule. The seller revises the quotation before approval. At delivery, the recipient checks the ridge components separately instead of relying only on the main package count.
Keep this with the order
