Ordering dairy and beverages in Zimbabwe
Identify the selected product and its handling instructions before booking transport. Products within a broad milk or beverage category should not be assumed to share the same receiving requirements.
Choose the product, not just the category
Dairibord describes milk, beverage and food categories, while Tanganda publishes tea formats. Use the recipient's actual requirements to choose the order lines and confirm current packs with the seller. Product names and labels matter more than an informal request for refreshments. This guide does not make nutrition or dietary-suitability claims.

Prepare the destination
Ask the supplier for the handling and storage instructions applicable to each selected product. The receiver should confirm that the destination and transport arrangements can meet them. Do not assume that a seller provides a particular transport method. Keep different handling requirements visible on a mixed order so an apparently complete basket does not create an unresolved receiving problem.
| Record | Reason |
|---|---|
| Exact product | Broad categories conceal differences |
| Handling instructions | Prepare transport and destination |
| Received units | Reconcile the final basket |

Document substitutions and condition
Ask for approval before replacing a product or pack format. At receipt, count units and inspect the packaging and relevant label information. Record any discrepancy while it can be reconciled with the seller. A recipient can describe observed condition but should not claim knowledge of every earlier stage of storage or transport.

Enquiry brief to adapt
Please identify the exact product and packaging format, together with the relevant storage and handling information for the proposed supply. Show the quantity in individual units and cases where applicable. The recipient will check that the destination and transport arrangement can follow the product instructions. Any change in product format must be approved before dispatch, rather than treated as an equivalent basket solely by price.

Putting the record into practice
An event basket contains several drinks with different product instructions. The organiser checks the arrangements for each line before the payer approves delivery. The handover record identifies the final products and observed condition without claiming an unobserved handling history.
