Ordering water tanks in Zimbabwe
A tank order should identify the intended use, product dimensions and complete installation scope. Capacity alone does not establish suitability, access or the fittings needed for a working arrangement.
Describe the use and destination
Mega Pak lists tanks among its products, while Harare Pumps & Irrigation describes water-storage offerings. Ask the supplier to confirm the product appropriate for the intended use. Do not assume a container is suitable for drinking water, chemicals or another application without the relevant supplier confirmation and professional advice.

Separate the tank from the installation
Request the model, dimensions, supplied fittings and any installation work as explicit lines. Have the responsible professional assess the base, connections and other site requirements. This guide does not design a support structure or plumbing system. Clarify who provides each required component before comparing a supply-only quote with a broader proposal.
| Scope | Clarify |
|---|---|
| Tank | Intended use, model and dimensions |
| Site | Professional assessment of requirements |
| Completion | Delivery, connections and agreed checks |

Agree a feasible handover
Ask the supplier to confirm access and unloading arrangements for the actual product. The recipient should compare identifiers and visible condition before installation. Record physical delivery separately from installation checks and any agreed commissioning. If fittings or site work remain outstanding, leave those items open rather than marking the entire project complete.

Enquiry brief to adapt
Please quote the specified tank, capacity and connection arrangement, identifying fittings or other components separately. The responsible installer will confirm the site and support requirements using the appropriate technical guidance. State the proposed loading or delivery arrangement and any unloading responsibility in the offer. The recipient will count the tank and accessories, leaving installation and checks of the completed water system as separate milestones.

Putting the record into practice
A buyer receives a tank quotation that excludes fittings and base preparation. The responsible installer identifies those requirements and the buyer obtains a complete scope before approval. The example does not prescribe a tank material or installation design.
